Description

This W 47 x L 148 x B 75mm MTH range of Multi-Truss Hangers is designed for use in heavy duty applications such as multiple truss units, main trimmer joists, purlin to beam connections or similar situations where unusually heavy loads occur.

Suitable for fixing timber to timber, masonry or concrete, the MTH range is engineered for enhanced overall load performance in applications where standard joist hangers are not sufficient.

Manufactured from 1.5mm thick galvanised steel, each hanger features a 75mm bearing surface for reliable load support, 5mm diameter nail holes, and an M12 bolt hole for secure mechanical fixing.

Produced as standard from galvanised steel to BS EN 10346:2009 + G275, with stainless steel options available to order for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Fixing

Fix using all pre-punched holes with either of the following:

Type A

  • 30mm x 3.75mm Sherardised Square Twist Nails
  • Typically supplied loose for manual fixing

Type B

  • 35mm x 3.75mm Sherardised Square Twist Nails
  • Typically supplied collated for nail gun fixing

Use the M12 bolt fixing in conjunction with specified nails to achieve full structural performance.
