4. Product Information
4.1 Representation
Product images shown online or in marketing material are for illustration only. Actual Products may differ slightly due to variations in manufacturing, natural materials, print quality, or screen settings.
4.2 Availability of Information
On request, The Good Sheet Materials Limited can provide product specifications, technical data sheets, safety data sheets (SDS), and installation guides ("Product Documentation") where available. These are supplied by manufacturers or Suppliers.
4.3 Customer Responsibility
The Customer is solely responsible for reviewing and understanding all relevant Product Documentation prior to purchase, installation, or use. This includes ensuring suitability for the intended purpose, handling requirements, and installation instructions.
4.4 Accuracy and Interpretation
The Good Sheet Materials Limited endeavours to provide current and accurate information but relies on third-party manufacturers and suppliers to provide information about their products that The Good Sheet markets and sells. The Seller does not warrant absolute accuracy, completeness, or suitability. Customers should seek professional advice if required.
4.5 No Liability for Misinterpretation/Misuse
The Good Sheet Materials Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by the Customer’s misinterpretation, misuse, or failure to follow Product Documentation.
5. Ordering for Delivery
5.1 Order Confirmation
Orders placed online or in-store will be confirmed by email. Delivery details will follow. Whilst most Products will be distributed by The Good Sheet, some Products may be shipped directly from Suppliers, but The Good Sheet Materials Limited remains the Customer’s point of contact regarding their order and delivery thereof.
5.2 Delivery Times
Typical delivery is 2–5 working days, but this is not guaranteed. Orders placed after 3 PM BST may require an additional processing day.
5.3 Delivery Procedures
- Kerbside Delivery: Bulk deliveries are made kerbside. Drivers are not obliged to move goods onto the property.
- Leaving Goods: Goods may be left at the property if deemed safe and legal to do so by the driver, unless the Customer specifies otherwise when ordering.
- Access Issues: Customers must notify the Seller of any access restrictions (narrow roads, weight limits, overhanging cables etc.). Failure to do so may result in a failed delivery incurring additional charges.
5.4 Rejection of Delivery
Customers may reject delivery if items are visibly damaged or incorrect. The reason must be noted with the driver, and the Seller informed within 24 hours. Upon valid rejection due to damage or incorrect items, the Seller will work with the Supplier to arrange a replacement delivery or a refund, as deemed appropriate. Please note that unjustified rejection of delivery may incur additional delivery or restocking charges.
5.5 Third-Party Delivery Liability
Where delivery is via a Supplier or third-party carrier, The Good Sheet The Good Sheet Materials Limited will assist in resolving issues but is not directly liable for delays, negligence, or damages caused during transit. Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.
5.6 Courier Delivery
We use couriers to deliver some of our products. Once tracking information is provided to you via email, it becomes your responsibility to use this information to monitor and manage the delivery of your order, including checking the expected delivery time and status.
Due to the value and nature of the materials, deliveries may require a signature upon receipt. It is your responsibility to ensure that a person is present at the delivery address to inspect and sign for the goods. Failure to receive and sign for the goods may result in the consignment being returned to the depot and could incur re-delivery charges.
The carrier’s signed Proof of Delivery (PoD) or photographic evidence taken by the driver will constitute conclusive proof that the delivery has taken place as arranged and that the risk of loss or damage to the Products has passed to you.
6. Customer Collections
6.1 Collection Arrangement
Goods may only be collected from authorised locations once paid in full and with proof of purchase.
6.2 Order Amendments at Collection Point
Amendments must be made before loading and paid for in full.
6.3 Rejection at Collection
Customers may reject goods at collection if visibly damaged or incorrect.
6.4 Responsibility for Safe Loading and Transit
The Customer is fully responsible for ensuring safe and legal loading of goods onto their vehicle.
- The vehicle is suitable and legally capable of carrying the weight and dimensions of the Products.
- The Products are securely and safely loaded and restrained to prevent movement, damage, or hazard during transit.
- The Customer complies with all relevant road traffic regulations, including vehicle weight limits, safe loading practices, and driver licensing requirements.
The Good Sheet Materials Limited takes any responsibility or liability for any injury, death, loss, or damage sustained by any person or property whilst loading Products into a vehicle at the collection point.
Any assistance given is at staff discretion and does not transfer liability.
6.5 Risk Transfer upon Loading
Risk transfers to the Customer immediately upon collection. Customers must check goods before leaving and notify the Seller of any issues, damage or discrepancies. By completing the collection process and leaving the site the Seller deems this acceptance of the Products.
7. Product Inspection, Damages, and Acceptance of Quality
- Customers must inspect goods immediately on collection or within 24 hours of delivery.
- Issues must be reported within this timeframe in-person, by phone, or email.
- Use of the goods or failure to report issues within the timeframe constitutes acceptance.
- Valid claims will be resolved with replacements, refunds, or alternatives, subject to availability.
8. Order Amendments and Cancellations
- Amendments or cancellations must be requested promptly. Once processed or dispatched, changes may not be possible. Email is not considered an immediate form of contact. Should the Customer wish to change, amend or cancel an order, this must be done by phone or in-person. The Customer may be requested to follow this up by email.
- Cancellations may incur charges if goods are dispatched or subject to restocking fees.
9. Returns and Refunds Policy
- Customers have 14 days from delivery (or collection) to return goods if they have changed their mind or they are surplus to requirements.
- Exclusions apply to cut-to-size, bespoke, perishable, or inseparably mixed goods.
- Returned goods must be unused, in resalable condition, and in original packaging with relevant proof of purchase.
- Restocking charges (up to 30%) may apply to certain items.
- Once the Customer has notified the Seller of the Customer's cancellation, the Customer then has a further 14 calendar days to ensure the goods are returned safely to the Supplier.
- Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, the Customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to the Supplier. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to the Customer.
- Upon a valid cancellation and inspection of returned goods, we will refund the cost of the Products and the standard delivery charge the Customer paid for the original delivery minus any charges incurred as outlined below.
- Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to the Customer.

- Variations within tolerance are considered acceptable and not grounds for return, refund, or replacement.

11. Limitation of Liability
- Customers are responsible for mitigating potential project delays by ordering in advance. Should issues arise resulting in the delay of materials, the Customer is expected to take all reasonable steps to minimise any resulting impact, whether financial or otherwise.
- The Seller is not liable for consequential, indirect, or financial losses caused by delays, damage, or third-party issues. The Good Sheet Materials Limited shall exercise all reasonable endeavours to ensure the accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders. However, notwithstanding such efforts, and for matters beyond the Seller's reasonable control, The Good Sheet Materials Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, damages, or expenses howsoever arising (including without limitation loss of profits, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses), whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Products or their use by the Customer. This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses incurred due to delayed delivery, damaged goods requiring replacement, or any unforeseen issues that may arise during or after the purchase and use of the Seller's Products, where such issues are not directly attributable to the Seller's breach of contract or negligence.
- Total liability is limited to the price paid for the Product, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g., personal injury caused by negligence).

- Any goodwill action is discretionary, not an admission of liability, and does not create precedent.
- Customers have no contractual right to goodwill measures.
