Timber to Timber Angle Plate 40mm x 40mm x 40mm

The AP Angle Plate L1 40 x L2 40 x W 40mm is a versatile range of multi-purpose fixing brackets and plates designed to strengthen timber joints in a wide variety of structural and general site applications. Ideal for timber-to-timber connections such as securing timber joists to timber purlins, the AP range is suitable for both nail and screw fixing.

Manufactured from 2.5mm thick steel with multiple pre-punched fixing holes, AP Angle Plates provide a strong, reliable connection for structural timber applications.

As three-dimensional nailing plates for timber-to-timber connections, the AP range is designed for structural applications in accordance with ETA-20-0915. Please refer to ETA-20-0915 for intended use and application requirements.

Material

• Manufactured from 2.5mm thick galvanised steel to BS EN 10346:2009 + G275 as standard.
• Stainless steel Grade 304 to BS EN 10088-2 Grade 1.4301 available to order.
• AP/664 available in stainless steel from stock.

Fixing

Fix using either Type A or Type B fixings in all pre-punched holes:

• Type A: 30mm x 3.75mm Sherardised Square Twist Nails (typically supplied loose for manual fixing)
• Type B: 35mm x 3.75mm Sherardised Square Twist Nails (typically collated for nail gun fixing)
