Light Duty Restraint Straps 1000mm Bent at 100mm

The V Vertical restraint straps are a traditional light duty restraint strap used to provide vertical restraint applications such as tying timber roofs and wall plates to the masonry wall.

Manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2015. 

Designed in accordance with BS 5268 Part 3 and other relevant building standards for vertical and horizontal restraint, Restraint Straps are tested to BS EN 845-1. Please refer to project-specific structural requirements for intended use.

Material

• Manufactured from 2.3mm thick x 27mm wide edge-coated galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346 as standard.

• Width: 27mm
• Thickness: 2.3mm
• Total Length 1000mm. X 900mm Y 100mm
• Multi-holed design with 6mm diameter holes at 25mm offset centres
• Standard products include one bend where applicable

Fixing

Restraint straps should be fixed using one of the following approved fixings:

• 50mm No.12 woodscrews (with wall plugs in masonry for vertical restraint applications)
• 75mm x 4.0mm galvanised nails when fixing into timber
