Description

This 4x2 CLS timber has a finished size of approximately 38mm x 89mm, which has a slightly smaller profile as it is finished on all sides. It is ideal for stud walls, partitioning and framing.

  • Available in 2.4m, 3.6m & 4.8m lengths.
  • For use in stud walls, framing and partitioning applications.
  • High-pressure treated (to UC3/UC2 standards or equivalent, using modern preservatives like Tanalith E or similar) – provides long-lasting resistance to fungal decay, insect attack, and weathering, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications (above ground contact).
  • Kiln-dried – reduces moisture content for greater dimensional stability, reduced warping/twisting, and enhanced overall strength and durability.
  • Regularised with eased corners – smooth, consistent finish that's safer and more comfortable to work with; minimises splinters, improves paint/stain adhesion, and gives a neater appearance.
  • Lightweight yet strong – perfect for structural uses.
  • FSC Certified – responsibly sourced from sustainable forests for eco-conscious projects.
