Description
This 12.5mm Knauf tapered edge plasterboard offers enhanced acoustic performance, as well as excellent fire resistance (offering up to 120 minutes of fire protection). Soundshield Plus has been specifically manufactured to create a calm and private space, making it suitable for bedrooms, meeting rooms and offices.
- 12.5mm x 2400mm x 1200mm.
- Delivers up to 120 minutes of fire resistance.
- Quick, easy installation.
- Tapered corners, meaning it can be taped and jointed after installation.
- Blue face to which suitable gypsum plasters or decoration may be applied.
- High-density core.
- Can be cut using a plasterboard saw or by scoring with a sharp knife and snapping the board over a straight edge.
- Greater levels of sound insulation over standard products.
- In ceilings and partitions helps reduce passage of sound.
The boards feature special additives and incorporate a blue face lining to create a strong sound barrier. One of the biggest benefits of installing Knauf Soundshield is that it provides a basis for plaster and paint. As soon as this gypsum plasterboard is installed you can crack on with decorating.
